Worthy Park 109 Single Estate is a single estate Jamaican molasses rum. This means that all stages of the rum making process take place on the estate, from planting the cane to bottling. Worthy Park is best known for its sublime traditional pot-still, where all its rums are distilled.This Worthy Park 109 is a dark rum (coloured with caramel) with 54.5% alcohol. This is known as “gunpowder proof”, i.e. the degree at which gunpowder ignites, even when soaked in rum.A marvellous Jamaican rum from Worthy Park, copper pot distilled from estate-grown sugar cane molasses. The rum spends a short stay in American oak and ex-bourbon casks, before blending and bottling on site. Brimming with plenty of tropical fruit notes, with classicly bold Jamaican esters, and bottled up at a hearty 54.5% – this is an ideal expression to have handy for adding some extra body to your cocktails.
